The programme consists of computer labs which accounts for 50% of the time. Participants will be given the opportunity to study and experiment with relevant techniques on how to analyse and tackle HR data through a dummy HR dataset.

      On Completion of the programme, participants should be able to:

      • Deploy the statistical technique applicable to the field of HRM

      • Align the people agenda with the business agenda to catalyse the attainment of organisation strategic goals and sustainability

      • Introduce best practices of HR analytics – explore the commonly adopted tools to apply HR analytics including KPI, Scorecard, Strategic Workforce Planning as well as future trends of HR analytics

      • Strengthen the deliverables and influences of HR professionals to provide people insight to the management

      • Leverage MS Excel for data mining and analysis as well as facilitating infographics presentation

      • Equip with the basis statistics knowledge and evaluate how the statistical approach can be realised in HRM

      • Apply advanced statistics techniques and models to cultivate evidence-based decisions to manage people issues

      • Implement predictive HR analytics to address and unmask potential people management challenges

      To qualify for the course certificate, full programme participants are required to fulfil ALL the  requirements below:

      • Attend all sessions; AND

      • A pass mark in the end-of-term assessment (Submission Deadline: 3 October 2022)

          Ross has a wealth of practical and hands-on experience in HRM and HR Analytics acquired from various organisations including GE, AIG, Securities and Futures Commission, Shell, TE Connectivity and South China Morning Post Group. Ross, moreover, is skilled in process reengineering and has been certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt. He is also experienced in delivering training programmes and has been certified as a qualified trainer for various corporate and external training programmes.
